Advanced Open Water Diver Course

If you already have a PADI Open Water certification (or qualifying certification from another organization), the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course will sharpen your diving skills to become a well-rounded diver, extending also your depth limits to 30 m/ 100 ft.

The course takes 2 days, it consists on a knowledge development and 5 adventure dives, including the mandatory Deep and Underwater Navigation. You can choose the remaining 3 from following list:​

• Delayed Surface Marker Buoy Adventure Dive

• Drift Adventure Dive

• Enriched Air

• Fish ID Adventure Dive

• Peak Performance Buoyancy Adventure Dive

• Search and Recovery Adventure Dive

• Underwater Naturalist Adventure Dive

Optional

Change one of the non mandatory adventure dives for 'Enriched Air Specialty' and get your PADI Nitrox Specialty certification (the adventure dive 'Nitrox' doesn't certify you as a Nitrox Specialist). The PADI Nitrox Specialty allows you to use Enriched Air tanks. You will go through a theory review, learn how to use an oxygen air analyzer and how to set up your computer to use Nitrox.

Day 1. 6.45am - 12.30pm

• PADI E-learning theory material will be sent in advanced for you to complete at your own pace (includes PADI Advanced Open Water Diver's manual and knowledge reviews).

• Meeting at the dive shop.​​

​​

• 30 minutes boat ride to Catalinas Islands.

​​

• 2 dives at 2 different dive spots - Adventure dives 1 + 2.

​​

• Always with a PADI instructor.

​

 

Day 2. 6.45am - 12.30pm

​

• Meeting at the dive shop.​​​

​​

• 30 minutes boat ride to Catalinas Islands.

​​

• 2 dives at 2 different dive spots - Adventure dives 3, 4 + 5.

​​

• Always with a PADI instructor.
