Scuba diving in the Pacific is a unique experience!
With about 6% of the whole world's biodiversity, Costa Rica offers to its visitors incomparable wildlife and breathtaking sceneries. And most of this biodiversity can be found underwater!
The Catalinas Islands are one of the best diving spots in Costa Rica. The archipelago formed by 7 islands offers over 13 diving spots, ideal for seasoned divers and beginners alike. They house an immense variety of marine life, from white tipped reef sharks, huge pacific manta rays, a wide diversity of rays, sea turtles to nudibranchs and harlequin shrimps. Not only that, you can also spot immense schools of grunts, the Pacific blue fin tuna, jacks as large as you are, snappers, scorpion fish (be careful with those!), eels, octopuses and much more. The variety is mind blowing!
Don`t forget to keep your eyes open during the trip to the islands, you could spot playful dolphins, jumping devil rays, sea turtles or even the extraordinary humpback whales.

Our boat departs from Tamarindo! Avoid getting stuck in traffic for an extra hour during your trip! With our speed boat we go straight from Tamarindo to Catalinas Islands, with no need to drive to Flamingo Marina.

About us
You can find us right in the heart of Tamarindo, at Avenida Central across from National Bank.
We start the day at the dive shop, where you will sign the paperwork and try on the gear. After that, we go to the beach and board the boat that will take us to Catalinas Islands.
Our boat, the Vagabond, is a 10m/30ft eduardoño with two Suzuki 150hp engines from 2022 and a maximum capacity for 14 divers (including the guides).
The dive spots are chosen based on the conditions of the day, we dive in small groups and with experienced PADI certified instructors. This allows us to provide the best possible experience while keeping safety and ejoyment our top priorities.
